Laminate wood is made up of composite wood pressed together and is topped off with the image of hardwood. It’s cost for the product and installation both are fairly inexpensive compared to hardwood. It is very durable and can take on the dog’s nails, the kid’s toys that you asked them to keep outside and other daily wear and tear. And another great thing is that it can endure moisture and minor water problems.
On the other hand, hardwood floors are natural and very beautiful. Because it comes from real trees, it is more expensive along with the installation cost too. Therefore, this would add value to your home. Unfortunately, it is not known for great durability. After a while, scratches appear and if there is an accumulation of water in one area, those pieces would have to be replaced.
