Foreseeable Storms

There are 4 potential tropical cyclones in the Atlantic Ocean that could potentially bring impacts to the United States.
Potential Tropical Cyclone #9:
This system is located in the northern Caribbean which is the area affected by Hurricane Dorian recently. Dorian helped to lower the sea surface temperature due to upwelling which will inhibit rapid strengthening of Potential Tropical Cyclone #9.
#1:
An area of low pressure located in the eastern Gulf of Mexico is organized and could impact the Texas Gulf Coast this weekend. I don’t expect this system to cause major impacts but there could be some tropical storm force winds along the gulf and high wave action.
#2:
Still located in the central Atlantic, this system will continue to track west and could potentially impact the United States in about 10 days or so. It is possible #2 could recurve back into the central Atlantic before reaching the United States.
#3:
Trailing behind #2, this system will likely develop as well and will need to be monitored. Too far out to predict where this system will go.
